When Robert Irvine was so unjustly ousted from Iron Chef, I consoled myself by purchasing his first cookbook. In the spirit of Julie and Julia I have decided to cook my way through the book. It may take a while. Some of his recipes just don't seem kid-friendly and I have lots of those! I am however up to the challenge of tempting (or disgusting) their soft little pallettes with caviar, fish and bubble and squeak! I can't wait to record the successes, failures, and reactions of my precious family! I am sure the vocal reactions will be the best part of this experiement. But we can certainly hope the cooking will be!
